Ran a mile while doing the COT.  Prayers for @Warm-water’s friend and his recovery from head injury.  Continues prayers for @SloMo’s mom.
My thought of the day was about the commercialization of Christmas that everyone complains about this time of year.  Is it really that bad.  If it gets people talking about and involved in the Christmas spirit, you could say it has accomplished the mission.  The Turkey Trot yesterday had a mission of raising money to feed the homeless.  If everyone that participated only cared about that, they would have just donated and called it a day.  But my guess is that most people participated to get a medal or get some exercise before gorging on turkey.  Is that bad?  I say no because mission was accomplished.  Enjoy Christmas guys, enjoy every commercial, every Christmas light display, and every song on the radio.  Is it the true meaning of Christmas? Probably not.  But in the end the means will be justified.
