Armistice Day marked the end of WWI. The armistice was declared the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11 month in 1945. Later veterans of all wars were to be included in the remembrance, and Veterans Day came to be in 1954. We do an exceptional job of honoring our veterans here in the US, and it still falls short in recognizing their sacrifice and service. God Bless our veterans. We finished with the pledge of allegiance, with that big beautiful Ken Dukes Stadium flag providing a great scene.
